No. 024 Rolling 24″ Tool Box
This fully featured yet lightweight 24″ toolbox is made from advanced “structural foam” materials. The thick walls are very durable but weigh a lot less. The box rolls level with the ground thanks to a long, top-mounted pull handle that can be conveniently pulled along while walking. The inner tray has features that assist in carpet seaming, including a series of angled recesses which allow steam to escape while also evenly pressuring the seam. This multi-purpose seam sealer bottle works well on residential stretch-in or commercial glue-down jobs. It comes with a plastic applicator with a lip that hooks on the carpet for residential jobs. Stair tools are used with a mallet to tuck carpet into the corner of stair treads, as well as to tuck carpet at the wall between the base board and the tack-less strip. The No. 041 is a top quality 4″ wide spreader used for spreading base adhesive across the back of 6″ wide vinyl or rubber cove base. Features a polished stainless-steel blade and an attractive lacquered wood handle. This resharpenable combination knife includes a long hook edge on one side and a deep hook edge on the other. The long hook edge has a sharp point and works well for precision cuts, particularly in following a previously scored line. The deep hook edge works well for long rough cuts in sheetgoods. The notched carpet spreader is made from flexible steel. It can be used to press and hold the carpet in the gully at the tack strip while the stretch is released. The hinge scriber is a sheet vinyl seam scriber designed for accuracy, ease of adjustment, and for good grip and control. The offset distance between the bottom guide and the needle is adjusted using a precision thumbwheel. Once adjusted, the three-arm knob locks the needle in position. The hinged base allows the tool to be more easily inserted at the seam, particularly on thick material. With the hinge folded open, insert the base under the material on top and hook the guide on the edge of the material underneath.
