ECO-PRIMER is a self-crosslinking waterborne polymer-based sealer with high coverage that effectively seals timber preventing “tannin bleed” and “picture framing”. Designed as a primer for Handley Omni~ water-based coatings.

Omni~ is fast drying - under ideal dry and warm conditions, a dry time of under 60 minutes can be expected. Over coating can commence when ECO-PRIMER is touch dry and resistant to a firm fingerprint.

Excellent coverage of 12-15 sqm per litre.

Uses: ECO-PRIMER is a self-crosslinking waterborne polymer-based sealer with high coverage that effectively seals timber preventing “tannin bleed” and “picture framing”.

Application: Surface should be clean, dry, and free of oils, wax, silicone, grease etc. Wood should be sanded with a 150# sandpaper. Vacuum thoroughly. Cut in around edges with a brush then apply ECO-PRIMER with a 6mm nap roller or higher at a rate of approximately 12-15 m2 per litre.

Only one coat is sufficient to seal the timber before the subsequent application of polyurethane finish. Clean up with water.

Drying Time: Under 60 minutes in ideal warm and dry conditions. Over coating can commence when ECO-PRIMER is touch dry and resistant to a firm fingerprint.
