LOW V.O.C MOISTURE-CURING POLYURETHANE CONCRETE SLAB SEALER

SLAB-SEAL is a one-component high solids low viscosity moisture-curing polyurethane that cures rapidly to seal concrete slabs prior to the installation of timber flooring using Handley polyurethane timber adhesives.

Surface Preparation - Surface should be clean, dry, and free of dirt, oils, wax, silicone, grease etc. Concrete should be ground to remove any chalkiness, laitance and previous coatings etc. Vacuum thoroughly.

Application - Cut in around edges with a brush then apply SLAB-SEAL with a 6mm nap roller, or higher, at a rate of approximately 10-15 m2 per litre. Apply thinly and avoid pooling.

Curing - SLAB-SEAL will be dry to the touch within two hours depending on temperature and humidity. Further coats of SLAB-SEAL can be applied at this point or subsequent bonding of timber can commence using Handley polyurethane timber adhesives.

Clean up - Wash brushes / rollers in Handley Brush Cleaner.
